Summary
Alice Pleasance Wonder is a patient at the Radcliffe Lunatic Asylum in Oxford. There is a serial killer on the loose, whose name is the Cheshire cat. He kills his victim and plasters a giant grin on the corpse's face. Alice and Pillar the Killer embark on a journey to find this killer with the help of Carroll and his "creatures."

I loved this book! The way the author retells Alice in Wonderland is great. There is such a great concept and the story is great. The writing style stays true to the original book. A "fun", whimsical, mad read. You also learn so many things while reading. I know I learned a bunch of stuff.
Alice is super cool! Bad/lacking description her, but she is. She really is a grown up version of the Alice from the book. She's such a complex character, she questions her sanity often. She convince's herself that she's okay, but she knows very well that she's not. She has a great need to help and make things right. It's very admirable.
Professor Carter Pillar, a.k.a. Pillar the Killer, is such such a flamboyant person despite being a serial killer. His weapon of choice is a hookah. oh my damn! He's freakin' awesome. I found him kinda creepy because he know EVERYTHING about Lewis Carroll. A stalker of the future. shudder.
There isn't much about the Red Queen, but she's ugly on the outside and on the inside. The White Queen is such a bad-ass even though she's looked upon as "The Virgin Mary/Priestess." The Cheshire cat creeps me out.
I really should've paid more attention in the beginning because the end would've been less surprising. Anyway, great book, pick it up, enjoy it, and comment what you thought about it!
